What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

A Chiropractic adjustment is the art of realigning the spinal column to normalize it’s function. The adjustment is applied to a joint that is fixated, “locked up”, or not moving properly; and it will restore the bones to a normal position, restoring the body’s natural healing. Dr. Bryan is trained in multiple techniques and is able to assess which technique best suites any individual. Sometimes, other forms of treatment are required along with the adjustment. If you suffer from back or neck pain, headaches, and any other chronic pain, chiropractic could dramatically increase your quality of life. Back and neck pain are the most common reason that a person comes to visit Dr. Bryan.  Following their treatment, many patients have noticed not only did their pain subside, but they experienced better sleep, bowl movements, decreased headaches and irritability.

Back Pain

Chiropractic care will restore the mobility of joints that have been damaged.

Common conditions we see for back pain include:

  • Sciatica
  • Stenosis
  • Herniated/bulging discs
  • Neruopathy
  • Muscle strains
  • Numbness/ tingling in the extremities
  • Restless Leg Syndrome

Chiropractic care will restore function and can help to prevent further injury.

Neck Pain

Pain in the neck can be caused by accidents, sports, poor posture, and even sleeping with a bad pillow.  Sometimes you will feel a stiffness and lack of mobility, and other times the problems will surface in the form of chronic headaches or migraines.

Adjustments to the cervical spine (neck) will relieve:

  • Sinus congestion
  • Allergies
  • Respiratory conditions
  • Chronic headaches/ migraines
  • Numbness/tingling in the extremities

Dr. Bryan will use several different approaches and can modify and adapt techniques that will suit your personal needs and preferences.
